Comfort (Wearing) Quality (Audio) Compatibility Price Convenience (To use)
only let down is the non availability of ear buds should you need one after some months of use; else a superb product>>!! (Posted on 11/10/14)
Top quality sound, convenient, wearing could improve, price on higher side, online shop did not deliver Review by Seshadri
Price Convenience (To use) Comfort (Wearing) Quality (Audio) Compatibility
Open the pack, put to charge for an hour or so, Pair to phone via Bluetooth in a jiffy and you are on a different level of experiencing the sound, hear the caller as clear as he / she was sitting by your side, and the caller would tell you he / she could hear you clearly.
Awesome clarity of sound, as we know Sennheiser!
Size is just perfect, 10 gm weight would feel non-existent!
Single button functions mostly intuitive, the voice prompts compliment where you need it, e.g. pressing it 2 seconds give you a different functionality than pressing it a second longer, 3 S, but you will get used to it after tying a couple of times. In fact, your ability to differentiate between 2 S and 3 S would get better as it works exactly as it says!
Could not yet try the conference call feature successfully, though I guess the network provider and / or my phone may not have support it. A clear message "Operation failed" on the phone screen appeared, i.e. at least the headset button did its job of triggering the operation. Also, I tried it with a phone that supports Bluetooth 2.1, whereas this VMX 200 II would support up to 3.0.
Will try it with another phone and / or network and seek support if it still did not work.
All other features, answering, holding rejecting, forwarding calls, transferring calls between headset and phone, etc. worked with ease.
When not in a call, just press the single button once and the super quality music would start flowing into your ear, indeed if you had some in your phone! No trouble of navigating to media player or playlist etc. if all you want is to play the default or "All songs" one by one, or can skip forward or backward by one song at a time with a click on the volume buttons!
Tried so far within home though, different rooms apart, with TV and other noises around, and in office environment, not a slightest drop in the volume or clarity was felt. Yet to try in Car, hope it would be as clear as otherwise.
Now, something as important where it could improve. There are four ear-sleeves and one must it into your canal. Due to the non-existent weight you would not notice if the sleeve has actually moved off from initial position, and to be honest, it fell off my ear once, while I admit I did not use the correct sized sleeve when I was just trying one after the other. It would be recommended that you always use the ear-hook as well, which is nothing more than a tiny flexible wire, nicely hanging by the contour of your ear without bothering you or anyone else, and giving an ultimate confident fit. If you look into Bose Series - 2, I guess this is the reason they invested on the ear-sleeve more, came up with a "Left-only" or "Right-only" wearable model! That means you have to shell out twice the amount should you prefer to have in both ears, or get used to using the headset always on the same ear! I chose the freedom of swapping the ears from time to time, and do not mind that tiny and smart looking hook at all!
Overall, though I rated the price on the average as it is on the higher side, every penny spent is worth it.
